These are the only two categories in a 5-by-5 league that can act as "lone" categories, in that players who record them might help owners in only that category. If a batter gets a hit, he helps his average, can drive in runs and gets into position to score runs. When a pitcher has, say, a 15-win season, he usually has solid ERA, WHIP and strikeout numb ...
