Last pregame note: Rookie Simeon Varlamov is in goal for Washington for the second straight game. Meanwhile, Caps tough guy Donald Brashear is in the lineup for the first time in the series, at the expense of veteran center Michael Nylander. That's $5.5 million sitting in the press box.
