Saturday, April 18, 2009 WASHINGTON -- The Washington Nationals placed center fielder Roger Bernadina on the 15-day disabled list because of a broken right ankle. Bernadina was injured making a difficult running catch on a ball hit by Florida's Dan Uggla in the eighth inning of the Nationals' 9-6, 11-inning loss to the Florida Marlins on Saturday.
