Nats bring up Cintron from Triple-A

WASHINGTON -- The Washington Nationals have purchased the contract of infielder Alex Cintron from Triple-A Syracuse. The move Saturday before Washington's game against the Marlins filled a need for a backup infielder after shortstop Cristian Guzman was placed on the 15-day disabled list after Friday's game with Florida retroactive to April 14.
