Wednesday, April 15, 2009 Maryland announced that sophomore Marah Strickland is planning on transferring after the spring semester. Strickland, a 6-0 guard, started 23 of 33 games last season and averaged 8.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 28 minutes a game. She also shot 38 percent from 3-point range, seventh-best in the ACC. "We enjoyed having Marah as part of the Maryland basketball program the past two seasons," Terrapins coach Brenda Frese said in a statement. "We wish her all the best in the future." Strickland's ...
