Monday, April 13, 2009 CHARLESTON, S.C. -- American Vania King produced a first-round upset in the Family Circle Cup on Monday, by knocking out 14th seed Olga Govortsova 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5), 6-3. The 20-year-old King, ranked 121st in the world, mounted a spirited fight after trailing Belarusian Govortsova 5-3 in the second set and then took charge in the third.
