Saturday, April 11, 2009 WASHINGTON -- Saturday night's amazing overtime national championship game, won 4-3 by Boston University over Miami University, was the first NCAA title game to go into extra time since Minnesota beat Maine in St. Paul, Minn., by the same score back in 2002. That was also the last time that the Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner, Jordan Leopold, also won the national championship. BU captain Matt Gilroy joins Leopold in that group.
