Thursday, April 9, 2009 BOSTON -- Fenway Park likely will host the Winter Classic on Jan. 1. New York and Philadelphia were in the running to host the third annual outdoor game, but Boston is expected to win out, sources familiar with negotiations between Red Sox officials and the NHL confirmed to ESPN.com on Thursday.
