Yankees visit White House on off day

WASHINGTON -- Even though they didn't win the World Series, the New York Yankees got to go to the White House. A group of 22 players, coaches and travel personnel were given a private tour Tuesday that lasted about 1½ hours. Among those on the trip were Joba Chamberlain, Xavier Nady, Nick Swisher, Jonathan Albaladejo, Phil Coke, Ramiro Pena, Edwar Ramirez, Cody Ransom and Jose Veras.
