Monday, April 6, 2009 DETROIT -- It got quiet in here in a hurry. The massive Michigan State throng in Ford Field was silenced rather quickly by North Carolina's opening onslaught. At the under-12-minute media timeout, the Tar Heels lead by 13 and it could be worse if Roy Williams hadn't taken Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson out of the game at the same time.
