Thursday, April 2, 2009 DETROIT -- Tim Floyd's decision to stay at USC was the right move to make, even if it was one of the more bizarre coaching decisions he has made in his career. Floyd made some interesting comments at his abruptly called news conference late Thursday. He said that he felt he needed to look at the two programs -- Arizona and Memphis -- because he's at a point where he "wants to do something really special and I feel like I needed to go look at an elite program.''
