ESPN.com Wednesday, April 1, 2009 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In the late 1920s, sportswriter Frank Graham took the measure of Yankees outfielder Bob Meusel, an unpleasant man who tried to warm to newspapermen late in his career. "He's learning to say hello," Graham wrote, "when it's time to say goodbye." Head coach Charlie Weis does not believe he is about to say goodbye to Notre Dame.
