Redskins re-sign Daniels to help depth

For the second time in three weeks, the Washington Redskins have re-signed a longtime veteran to bolster their defensive line. Thirteen-year veteran Phillip Daniels has reached agreement with the Redskins on a one-year contract worth $845,000. Daniels told The Washington Times last week that he intended to re-sign. The Redskins released Daniels earlier this spring for salary cap purposes, and he generated pretty good interest in the free agent market before deciding to re-sign with the team. ...
