Walker taking over for UConn

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Kemba Walker has taken over the game. The Connecticut freshman isn't just scoring; he's commanding the game. On two trips, he scored on a strong drive to the hoop then set up Hasheem Thabeet with a perfect dish. The big man laid it in and drew the foul to give UConn a six-point cushion. Walker is using his speed to beat Mizzou downcourt and to the hole.
