BAYTOWN, Texas -- Ashley Force Hood took the provisional No. 1 qualifying position on Friday in a rain-shortened Funny Car session at the O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals. Cory McClenathan, Kurt Johnson and Eddie Krawiec also took the provisional No. 1 positions in their categories. Rain shortened qualifying Friday to one round.
