Nats' bats should improve drastically

Although it seems the Nationals have been irrelevant since moving from Montreal to Washington in 2005, that's actually not the case. In fact, they managed to finish at .500 in their first season in our nation's capital and led the National League East at the All-Star break. Since then, the team has progressively gotten worse, and the Nats reached their nadir (they hope) with a record of 59-102 in 2008.
