Thursday, March 19, 2009 OXFORD, Ohio -- Charlie Coles got a three-year contract extension Thursday from Miami of Ohio, giving him a chance to become the winningest coach in Mid-American Conference history. The 67-year-old Coles missed the end of last season because of heart problems, and had four operations in the next few months, including one to reshape his heart.
