Wednesday, March 18, 2009 The 1985 MLB draft was at least somewhat more successful as a whole than its 1984 counterpart, and there's certainly more star power, including four players with Hall of Fame numbers. Twenty-two of the 28 first-round picks reached the big leagues, while 174 of 832 players selected and 59 of the top 100 made it to the show. The draft lasted 39 rounds, and two of those chosen are still active -- left-hander Randy Johnson, who signed on with the San Francisco Giants this past winter, and right-han ...
