ESPN.com Thursday, March 12, 2009 The New York Jets compensated for the recent free agency loss of versatile defensive lineman C.J.Mosley (Cleveland) by signing unrestricted free agent tackle Howard Green to a one year contract on Thursday. Further details of the contract were not immediately available. A good-sized tackle (6-2, 320 pounds) whose strength is playing the run, Green should be a key reserve for the Jets, and will enable new coach Rex Ryan to be more creative with standout tackle Kris Jenkins.
