HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Stefon Jackson scored 30 points and Randy Culpepper added 23 to lead Texas-El Paso to a 81-70 victory over Southern Mississippi on Saturday night. The Miners (19-11, 10-6 Conference USA) have won six of their last eight games. UTEP also beat the Golden Eagles (14-16, 4-12) earlier in the season, winning 87-75 in El Paso, Texas in late January.
