New Orleans' 104-88 win over the Mavs on Thursday night was its sixth straight and put the Hornets back in the West's top four for the first time in eons. More interesting, perhaps, is that Friday's Playoff Odds project the Hornets to finish the season in that spot, in a tie with Portland at 51 wins (New Orleans owns the tiebreaker thanks to a superior conference record).
