Thursday, March 5, 2009 GRAMBLING, La. -- Trant Simpson scored 21 points and Alabama A&M rallied to defeat Grambling State 63-45 Thursday night, ending a six-game skid. The Bulldogs (8-17, 6-11 Southwestern Athletic Conference) trailed 30-25 at halftime, but outscored the Tigers 38-15 in the second half to win their first game since Feb. 7. Simpson shot 8 of 13 from the field and was 4 of 6 from 3-point range for Alabama A&M, which made 26 of 49 field goals (53.1 percent) and 7 of 17 from beyond the arc. Kudus Ogbar ...
