Tuesday, March 3, 2009 The waiver wire is always worth monitoring on the eve of the NHL trade deadline, and it didn't disappoint Tuesday. Brendan Morrison, Miroslav Satan and Gary Roberts were among the veteran players put on 24-hour waivers. The question is, will they get claimed Wednesday? The New York Rangers also waived Erik Reitz and Aaron Voros to make cap room for the arrival of Sean Avery.
