Tuesday, March 3, 2009 Believe it or not, conference tournaments begin tonight with early-round action in the Ohio Valley, Horizon League and Big South. The two games of greatest impact involve regular-season champions Tennessee-Martin (hosting Tennessee Tech in the OVC) and Radford (hosting High Point in the Big South). This is the third year in which automatic NIT bids are awarded to regular-season conference champions who do not advance to the NCAAs.
