Saturday, February 28, 2009 PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Savalance Townsend scored 17 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff over Grambling State 69-61 Saturday night. Townsend shot 6-of-8 from the field and made three 3-pointers for the Golden Lions (11-16, 10-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference). UAPB led 37-23 at halftime. Ariece Perkins led Grambling State (6-20, 4-11) with 17 points. Terrance Calvin added 17 points and Tyree Glass scored 10 for UAPB, which shot 52 percent from the field and had 21 assists and 21 turnovers. Activate your ESPN Profile!
