Saturday, February 28, 2009 CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Brandon Giles scored 23 points and Brigham Waginger added 22 to lead Western Carolina past Chattanooga 86-77 on Saturday night. With the win, the Catamounts (16-14, 11-9 Southern Conference) earned the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the conference tournament, which starts Friday.
