HUNTINGTON, W.V. -- Damier Pitts scored 21 points and Marshall beat Central Florida 67-62 on Saturday night. Pitts shot 4-for-6 from behind 3-point line and 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. Markel Humphrey added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Thundering Herd (14-15, 6-8 Conference USA), while Tirrell Baines chipped in with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
