Friday, February 27, 2009 I've been looking at how many bullpens are deeply questionable -- if not horrible -- beyond their top two or three pitchers, and wondering about relievers who are still free agents even as spring training games are getting underway. Are there any who could still help teams? Start with this fact: ERA is a terrible way to gauge single seasons by relievers.
