RBS won't renew team sponsorship

LONDON -- Royal Bank of Scotland will end its sponsorship of the Williams Formula One team when the current deal expires in 2010, the troubled bank said Wednesday. RBS, now majority-owned by the British government, is due to report Britain's biggest-ever corporate loss on Thursday as well as a restructuring plan and job losses.
