HOUSTON -- Nick Walker led six players in double figures to help Texas Southern defeat Mississippi Valley State 99-87 Monday night. Walker came off the bench to hit 5-of-6 from the field, including four 3-pointers, and 8-of-12 free throws for Texas Southern (4-23, 4-10 Southwestern Athletic). Matthew Miller added 21 points.
