Sabres jump up in standings by handing Rangers another loss

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Ryan Miller got the Buffalo Sabres this far in putting them in playoff contention. To stay in the race, they're going to have to do it without the star goalie. Miller is out indefinitely after sustaining a high left ankle sprain in the third period of Buffalo's 4-2 win over the reeling New York Rangers on Saturday night.
