Saturday, February 21, 2009 TORONTO -- The NHL suspended Los Angeles Kings defenseman Denis Gauthier for two games without pay Saturday. The punishment stems from a confrontation midway through the third period in last Thursday's 4-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. Gauthier made contact with Sharks forward Patrick Marleau on an icing play. Gauthier was assessed a minor penalty for boarding. Marleau wasn't injured.
