Tedford taps Ludwig as coordinator

It didn't take long for California coach Jeff Tedford to replace offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, who bolted this week for the same post at Pittsburgh. Tedford on Friday tapped Andy Ludwig, who had just been hired away from Utah in December to be Kansas State's offensive coordinator. This season, Ludwig tutored Utah quarterback Brian Johnson to Mountain West offensive player of the year honors.
