COURTNEY KORDES HIGHLANDS  GIRLS' GOLF After a high school career packed with four WPIAL individual finals and two PIAA tournament berths, Kordes has opted to challenge herself in the biggest way possible  by signing with Penn State. The senior, who is also a top-notch girls' basketball player, chose the Nittany Lions both because of family ties and affiliations and because of the challenge of playing for a Division I golf program. Kordes finished 13th at the 2008 PIAA state tournament.
