Last year, I complained about a lack of accountability in Academy Award voting -- hey, if Corky Simpson gets outed for not voting for Rickey Henderson, I want to know who voted for Kim Basinger in 1997 -- and this year, I have another beef. A phrase popularized by the movie industry has crept into sports, and it needs to be stopped. We need a moratorium on "body of work" being applied to athletes.
