Moya, Gaudio fail to escape first round

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Former French Open champions Carlos Moya and Gaston Gaudio failed to survive the first round of the Copa Telmex on Tuesday. The fourth-seeded Moya, the Buenos Aires champion in 2003 and 2006, lost to 108th-ranked Argentine qualifier Maximo Gonzalez 6-4, 6-4.
