Marcus Cousin led the way at the free-throw line for the Cougars (16-7, 7-3 Conference USA), going 8-of-8. Qa'rraan Calhoun had the only miss from the line, going 0-for-1, but scored 10 points to go with five rebounds and four steals. Kris Richard scored 20 points to lead Tulane (10-14, 4-7).
