CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Harouna Mutombo scored 28 points, had seven rebounds and three blocks in Western Carolina's 89-84 victory over Appalachian State on Saturday night. Mutombo went 11-of-16 shooting to lead the Catamounts (13-12, 8-7 Southern Conference), who made 45.5 percent of their shots (30 of 66).
