Saturday, February 14, 2009 CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Harouna Mutombo scored 28 points, had seven rebounds and three blocks in Western Carolina's 89-84 victory over Appalachian State on Saturday night. Mutombo went 11-of-16 shooting to lead the Catamounts (13-12, 8-7 Southern Conference), who made 45.5 percent of their shots (30 of 66). Keaton Cole scored 15 points, Brigham Waginger chipped in with 12 and Greg Avery had 11 for the Catamounts, who snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Mountaineers (7-17, 5-11). Western Carolin ...
