SAN DIEGO -- Phil Mickelson walked off the 18th green to the usual cheers he receives at golf tournaments, more so here in his hometown, although it was deferential applause at its best Sunday afternoon. A fan looked down from a grandstand and shouted, "You're still the man, Phil,'' as Mickelson trudged past.
