EDINBURG, Texas -- John Cantrell scored 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting to lead Chicago State past Texas-Pan American 78-72 on Saturday night. Tawrence Walton and Cantrell each hit two free throws in the final 10 seconds to preserve Chicago State's victory after Emmanuel Jones' dunk cut the lead to 74-72.
