Tuesday, February 3, 2009 What is "Clip Reel?" Seemed like a problem this season: when a team became newly-minted as No. 1, they went out and dropped a game. That easily could have happened to Connecticut on Monday night: they were playing a fellow Top 10 squad in Louisville. Instead, the Huskies rolled. Conventional wisdom in November said the final Monday night would be Roy Williams vs. Jim Calhoun for all the marbles; there are certainly other teams in that wintry mix right now (Wake, Oklahoma, Duke to name a few) ...
