LONDON -- Australian Open semifinalist Serena Williams and her sister Venus were not on the U.S. roster submitted Wednesday for Fed Cup first-round matches against Argentina next month. New U.S. captain Mary Joe Fernandez invited both Williams siblings to participate, but they declined, citing scheduling issues, the U.S. Tennis Association said.
