The Black Box Crossroad event was pure insanity, offering only the things that skateboarders want. And, from what I saw today down at ASR, it may have caused the old trade show to kick the bucket.The sheer number of people snaking in and out of the tents, grubbing Ballpark hotdogs' now skateboard sponsoring frankfurters and watching the premiere of Cliche's new video made it clear that the whole retail show operation was now in the hands of the retailers.
