ESPN reviewed the submissions and discussions on your state/region's conversation page. The four figures on Maine's Sports Rushmore are below:

Cindy Blodgett (Clinton, Maine Black Bears) - The Maine All-American is one of six women to score 3,000 pts in D-I history.

Paul Kariya (Maine Black Bears) - The 1993 Hobey Baker award winner scored 100 pts for Maine on the 1992-93 NCAA Championship team.

Joan Benoit Samuelson (Cape Elizabeth) - The two-time Boston Marathon winner won the first women's Olympic Marathon at the 1984 Olympics.

Mike Bordick (Winterport, Maine Black Bears) - He played in two College World Series and in his professional career accumulated 1,500 hits and was an All-Star in 2000.
