Sammy Baugh (Washington Redskins) - Slingin' Sammy was a charter member of the 1963 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.

Joe Gibbs (Washington Redskins) - The three time Super Bowl winner coached the Redskins on two separate occasions.

Walter Johnson (Washington Senators) - He has the second-most wins in MLB history with 417 and all came with the Senators.

John Thompson (Georgetown Hoyas) - The Basketball Hall of Famer is Georgetown's all-time coaching wins leader with 596 wins and a .713 win percentage.
