The four figures on Rhode Island's Sports Rushmore are below: Rocco Baldelli (Woonsocket) - A four-sport star at Bishop Hendricken High in Warwick, Baldelli won state championships in baseball, basketball and volleyball before going on to play Major League Baseball. Ernie DiGregorio (North Providence, Providence) - He led Providence to the Final Four in 1973 then went on to become the NBA Rookie of the Year and assists leader in 1974. Nap Lajoie (Woonsocket) - His .426 batting average in 1901 is the MLB modern-era record.
