A quick clarification before we get started: Several Pistons fans e-mailed me Monday, upset at my calling their win in L.A. on Sunday the result of a horrific goaltend by Al Thornton. Apparently they thought I was saying it was a horrific call, but what I was trying to say, and apparently communicated badly, was that it was a horrific play by Thornton.
