Sunday, January 4, 2009 PITTSBURGH -- Shavonte Zellous had 34 points and Pittsburgh (No. 22 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 AP) scored the game's last eight points to beat West Virginia 72-63 in the Big East opener for both schools Sunday. Xenia Stewart scored 12 points as Pitt (11-2, 1-0) earned its 10th win in 11 games and the 100th for coach Agnus Berenato in her six seasons at the school.
