For Jose Arredondo, the "future" just got further away. On Wednesday, three short weeks after losing Francisco Rodriguez to the Mets in free agency, the Angels decided upon K-Rod's replacement … and Arredondo, hailed for much of the 2008 season as the team's closer of the future, won't be the guy.
