Wednesday, December 31, 2008 For Jose Arredondo, the "future" just got further away. On Wednesday, three short weeks after losing Francisco Rodriguez to the Mets in free agency, the Angels decided upon K-Rod's replacement and Arredondo, hailed for much of the 2008 season as the team's closer of the future, won't be the guy.
