If Penn State played in any other league, the question would never be asked. But Penn State joined the Big Ten Conference in 1993, so the question will hover over the Nittany Lions right up until kickoff for the Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi on Thursday afternoon (ABC, 4:30 ET).
